Battlestar Galactica was well ahead of its time as was Star Trek and Star Wars. Created by Glen A. Larson the show was picked up by Universal and aired in 1978. The season had twenty-four episodes which ended with the “Hand of God” where a transmission thought to have been sent by the cylons to lure them into a trap was picked up accidentally by Starbuck and Apollo.
